TheGrind PR, a public relations and eventing agency operating under the management structure of Group Africa Marketing (Pty) Ltd, recently appointed another bright spark to the fold as PR Account Manager.
Khathochelo holds a B.A. in Dramatic Arts from University of Witwatersrand, where she acquired writing for performance and non-fiction, Project and Production Development, Scriptwriting skills, African Literature including Film Visual and Television studies. This range of studies equips her to be versed in a broad range of expertise that are necessary for her daily tasks within PR, particularly for a portfolio that demands one to think on ones feet and produce a creative body of work consistently on behalf of clients.
Khathochelo joins TheGrind PR, from the University of Pretoria Football Club (AmaTuks) where she held the position of Media and Communications Officer. During her time with the professional football club she was responsible for the club's media relations including writing and issuing media releases, team press conferences, event management, and relationship management with key stakeholders.
Preceding this, Khathochelo held the position of Marketing, Brand, Supporter and Media Coordinator for Bidvest Wits Football Club.
Her past experience specialising in Sports PR, made her a perfect fit for TheGrind PR, where she now manages PR for a sport portfolio that includes Sasol's sponsorships of Banyana Banyana and the Sasol League, as well as Nestlé MILO's sport sponsorship properties.
