True Love for PR agency

The Johannesburg office of Marcus Brewster Publicity has been awarded the PR and media liaison account for Media24's Women's Magazine Division's True Love and True Love Babe. The PR company's current portfolio of magazine brands includes award-winning titles FHM and heat, which it launched in this country.

Commenting on the appointment, publisher Mari Lategan says, "Media24 Women's Magazine Division is incredibly successful with several formidable, long-standing titles including Sarie and Fairlady. As the stable is growing so dramatically, we wanted to associate with a PR company who had the ear and the confidence of the top editors in the country and who had a credible track record in the publishing industry"

The consultancy will drive both trade and consumer communication to position True Love Babe as a monthly handbook and style guide for South Africa's hip, connected, brand-savvy generation. The September issue of True Love Babe launches this week at the retail price of R15.95.

Marcus Brewster Publicity won two PRISM awards earlier this year and was runner up for FinWeek's PR Consultancy of the Year honours.
