The International Council of Shopping Centres' Solal Marketing Awards, which bring together the finest retail marketing initiatives across Europe and South Africa, have awarded Cavendish Square a silver Solal award for its Royal Winter campaign, which incorporated a number of focused events on food and flowers, two tactical 'princess' projects and a Royal winter sale, leveraged off the two royal weddings held in 2011.
It competed against 105 nominations from shopping centres across Europe and South Africa.
"We are exceptionally proud to receive the Oscar in shopping centre marketing and will continue in our efforts to offer our customers first class campaigns and events," says Cavendish Square's centre manager, Brenda Bibby.
