For the third year in succession, Primedia Lifestyle has received multiple finalist nominations for the International Council for Shopping Centres (ICSC) European Solal Marketing Awards. Winners will be announced at the European Marketing Conference in Budapest, Hungary on 7 June 2012.
The awards recognise best practice and outstanding marketing performance against European retail marketing excellence standards.

"Hundreds of entries were received from countries all over the world," says Doug Mayne, Primedia Lifestyle's MD, "The country which garnered the most finalists is Turkey with 31 finalists, followed by South Africa at 13, all from our group, which equates to 12.5% of the total finalists."

The success of its various campaigns were gauged against quantifiable objectives including building brand awareness, increased turnover, added value for shoppers, increased foot count, sponsorships, database recruitment and PR generated for each campaign.

The team's finalist positions were derived from various marketing campaigns originated by the group across several of its represented shopping centres.

"We are thrilled to be recognised for our strategic shopping centre marketing campaigns and look forward to the final results. I extend my thanks and congratulations to the teams involved in this year's entries," concludes Mayne.
