New packaging developments from Tetra Pak

Tetra Pak, the food processing and packaging solutions company, has developed the new Tetra Brik Aseptic /19 Retrofitability Kit for Tetra Brik Aseptic Edge 200ml and 250ml portion packs and the Tetra Pak A3/Speed for Tetra Prisma Aseptic portion packs.
These new filling machine solutions aim to deliver faster response times for customers in meeting consumer needs whilst minimising packaging equipment investment.

New differentiated package

The Tetra Brik Aseptic/19 Retrofitability Kit allows customers to transform the package shape and base area on the same machine platform, said to be a world first in the aseptic carton packaging industry.

Customers with the Tetra Brik Aseptic/19 for 125ml/200ml Slim and 250ml Base will soon be able to retrofit their existing filling lines, enabling them to produce the new Tetra Brik Aseptic Edge 200ml/250ml portion packs. For those with this filling machine who are not yet ready to invest in the Tetra Pak A3/Compact Flex, this solution provides the option of producing these packages for a fraction of the cost. In addition, the retrofitability kit takes less time to install than a completely new machine.

More speed

The new Tetra Pak A3/Speed filling unit is now available for Tetra Prisma Aseptic 200ml and 250ml portion packs. The Tetra Pak A3/Speed iLine is the fastest line available from Tetra Pak, with a maximum production capacity of 24 000 portion packs per hour.
