Revlon's Love Her Madly gets the quirky touch of Fresh Eye Film Productions

The new ad for Revlon's Love Her Madly™ fragrance is best described as a beautiful, (really) short film about two people who meet by accident on a night that should pass by unnoticed.
A charming girl who loves baking and an ordinary man who has returned to get something he left behind are the main players. As she forgets herself and lets the moment carry her off, he looks on unbeknownst to us (and her) until she turns to see him lovingly observing her quirky, totally charming performance. In this moment we know that he will grow to Love Her Madly.

Filmed by Fresh Eye Productions' Director Dani Hynes, "Patisserie" is a magical glimpse into that private moment when we let our quirky, kooky side out to play. "It's not every day that we get to make ads that feel like a slice of an art film. I loved that we didn't have to be consciously anywhere from a geographical point of view. We were just telling the story of two people really meeting for the first time. It is also an unconventional ad for the category. In beauty we traditionally focus on how other people see us, in this ad she is mostly unobserved, unselfconscious and free to be who she really is. This for me is when all women are at their most alluring, so I fell in love with the idea straight off. Everyone on our team spent a lot of time crafting the look of the sets, the wardrobe, the goodies in the shop (that was tough) even the name was deliberated on, because when you are making something that feels like a film every decision contributes to the overall feel. And what we wanted people to feel was that some of her magic was present in every detail. We are a bit nutty like that," concludes Dani.
