Colour grading an Academy Award-winning movie

VLab's Lustre colourist, Brett Manson and facility manager, Tracey Williams, will speak frankly about the various factors that played a role in their decision to digitally grade Tsotsi with Lustre; and will have a partial screening of excerpts for illustrative purposes.

"We'll also touch on how to plan for a DI, problems faced in the production process and how the grading process can be used to overcome problems," says Tracey, "And address how the DOP/Director and Colourist work as a team to achieve looks and consistency in an interactive grading session."
