February saw the installation of another successful media network launched by Global Access. This time it was for the Home Loans division of a leading financial institution and comprised of an eight-site installation right across South Africa. The Home Loans division was creative in giving their platform a name - HLTV - and it was launched on 11 February after an initial pilot period of two months.
The platform consists of Global Access' flagship Digital Signage product - Dynamic Digital Signage - comprising of live television segmented with Home Loans relevant content and news feeds. Global Access assisted in the creation of the overall look and feel of the platform, the HLTV logo design and most of the content for the initial playlist. The platform will be used for internal communication with Home Loans staff, from where they can show content related to their monthly targets, staff events, new appointments and developments they are involved in. This helps drive staff motivation through direct and up-to-date information sharing. Our creative team came up with the idea of creating templates that could be used by the Home Loans staff to update their own content on, thereby making this platform more personal to the staff and letting them share in new ideas for the channel.
The HLTV platform was linked to the existing Global Access network with ease. The whole network is managed from our National Operation Centre (NOC) in Johannesburg as well as all scheduling and content distribution. This was a very exciting project for us at Global Access and we wish the Home Loans division all success on their platform.
