IMPERIAL Logistics has strengthened its investment in Botswana, increasing its shareholding in mining and general cross-border activities through subsidiary, Transport Holdings. Operating within IMPERIAL Logistics Africa, Transport Holdings gains improved access to the strengths of IMPERIAL Logistics, together with its global reach that includes 14 African countries.
Transport Holdings Managing Director, Anthony Lee, says that the majority shareholding by IMPERIAL Logistics opens up significant opportunities for customers. "There are phenomenal advantages to be gained through economies of scale within a group that operates extensively across the continent and Europe," he explains.

"While being a subsidiary of IMPERIAL, we remain a Botswana empowered business, having retained our owner-manager focus. This combination gives our customers great comfort," he says, adding that the company is now in a position to grow its scale of delivery while maintaining entrepreneurial innovation and flexibility.

"We are pleased to have a vested interest in Transport Holdings, whose vision for improved logistics efficiencies in Africa is aligned to ours. The company is on a strong growth path, driven through a leadership team that understands African business, having proved as much time and again," concludes IMPERIAL Logistics Africa Business Development Director, Cyril Laubsher.
