Going, going gone... watch tower implode on Zoopy Live

Zoopy CEO Jason Elk explains that this event was chosen because it especially highlights the extra dimension that live streaming would bring to the Zoopy audience. "As we continuously strive to build a living archive of content, this gives us the additional opportunity to deliver the excitement, suspense and instant gratification that many users are looking for, before adding the recorded media to our permanent archive for those who missed the live event. The towers imploding before our eyes are a perfect example of this and a great start for the brand."

Climbing on the wagon

Adverts and marketing campaigns have sprung up across the country, using clever references to the demolition. One company, leading auctioneering group Auction Alliance, has used the famous auctioneering chant of 'Going Going Gone!' in a new print ad campaign during the run up to the demolition. The ad features both towers with a bold 'Going' followed by the words 'Not the only real estate soon to be gone.'

Take note of the start times of upcoming events, as a 'watch this stream' link will only activate at the time that the event is scheduled to begin. The system also offers a Remind Me option that sends an email or SMS reminder 12 hours and 2 hours before the start of an event.
