The Nedbank Local Heroes programme, understanding the love and compassion people share for their communities, are building on the success of last year's outstanding achievements. Last year 49 different charities benefited from this amazing initiative, and this year 120 charities will benefit from Local Heroes. Nedbank have more than doubled their investment in the programme.

Nedbank is calling on all South Africans, who are involved in community work to simply nominate the charity that they are involved with and volunteer it, for a donation from Nedbank. An iPod is also up for grabs when South Africans nominate their cause on Facebook.
