World Wide Creative launches new e-commerce platforms to sell gold online

The South African Gold Coin Exchange (SAGCE) and its retail division, The Scoin Shop, have officially launched brand new websites, both designed and built by digital marketing agency, World Wide Creative.
SAGCE's new website is fully responsive and designed to meet the increased demand for web browsing on mobile devices like smartphones and tablets. Consumers now have a number of touchpoints for browsing the largest collection of gold bullion and collectible coins and medallions in South Africa.

GEO tagging on the sites provides users with a location-based shopping experience that factors in services like professional brokerage and evaluations along the way. An extensive product gallery and efficient shopping cart functionality appeals to online user behaviour while its CMS allows for multi-language adaptability.

This flexibility extends across its backend systems which allow SAGCE marketing team members to make changes to these platforms with ease. Bridging the gap between internal IT systems and digital marketing, each site has been integrated into SAGCE and Scoin's existing systems to streamline the retail process.

Highlighting a simple aesthetic with magical design touches, the black, white and gold colour way creates synergy between the two sites as photographic elements transition between urban imagery and pictures of indigenous wildlife.

World Wide Creative's PPC and SEO teams took a strategic approach to the digital marketing of the sites and since their simultaneous launching two weeks ago, traffic to the sites has increased by 100.42% when compared to May's traffic volume. Branded and non-branded search traffic has increased by 112.12% and 103.45% respectively when compared to last month.
