Vicki Steenkamp is the latest exciting addition to The SpaceStation team. As the new channel manager for the Food24, Women24 and Channel24 platforms, Vicki's extensive publishing and ad sales skill set promises a continuation of the performance of these top-ranking online platforms.
Vicki's ad sales (Media24's Women's Magazine division) and publishing roles (as publisher for EatIn/EatOut
and Fresh Living
) have validated her belief that "Content is King" and fuelled her interest in consumer behavior and the possibilities that surround the communication of brands.
Vicki is Cape Town born and bred and has been in the magazine industry for 11 years working for both Custom and Consumer magazine titles across a range of sectors from fashion to food.
Five years ago she moved into a publishing role working for some of SA's top food titles both in their print and digital formats.
"I love the energy, possibilities and fast paced challenges that digital and social media offers," says Vicki. "I believe that 2013 will show significant growth for digital spend and more audience engagement. So I am thrilled to be working with the team at The SpaceStation and across such strong and credible digital platforms."
Vicki is mom to a two year old girl and is passionate about all things food related. She loves eating out and cooking at home for friends, and has a secret love for Harley's.
