NEWSWATCH: According to the ANC, the Cape Town Press Club is not neutral ground, reports Times Live, which also reports on Minister Tina Joemat-Pieterson's defence of her refusal to address the club when she discovered a member of the DA was in the audience. Meanwhile Mail & Guardian reports on a series of tweets that are anything but model tweets... though models produced them.

Well, she would, wouldn't she, though how the presence of one politician in an audience somehow turns the entire event into a political gathering is a bit hard to understand? Would that then mean that having a member of the Bok squad in the audience would turn it into a sporting event?
Mail & Guardian: Another model left shamefaced over racist tweet... Jessica Leandra dos Santos got the ball rolling with a racist tweet and then Tshidi Thamana picked up the same ball and ran with it.
She should have just dropped it!
