IOL reports that Cape Times photographer Mlandeli Puzi was arrested on the weekend and is facing charges of obstruction of justice and resisting arrest today, Monday 9 June, in the Belville magistrate's court.

According to the Mail & Guardian Online, there have been further allegations of corruption at Media24, this time concerning the management of its daily newspaper Beeld.

Kaya FM's reality programme 2 Strangers and a Wedding has been hit by scandal, with the former fiancée of the winning groom alleging that she was still engaged to him during the competition, writes The Times Online and IOL. The radio station, however, has hit back by saying that the former fiancée allegedly has had a pattern of harassment since the couple's breakup in December last year.
