Telkom reduces investment in Telkom Media

NEWSWATCH: Telkom has decided to reduce investments in Telkom Media and has rejected an investment proposal by Saudi operator Oger Telecoms, reports Business Day.

Press ombudsman Joe Thloloe, speaking in Durban on Monday at a debate entitled "The New ANC and the Media", warned that the ANC's media tribunal could be a threat to media freedom, writes the Mail & Guardian Online.
