The ABF is hosting its annual Comedy Evening on 19 August at Joe Parkers in Montecasino. The line-up includes some of South Africa's funniest up-and-coming comedians.
"This event is always well attended but we still have some places available, which we'd like the industry to fill," says Sharlene Vallance, Fundraiser for the ABF. "The line up this year includes Joe Parker, Robby Collins, Eureka Nkese, and Mel Miller.
We would like to thank OMD who have sponsored the event and who have also taken two tables," she says. "The industry's generosity never fails to amaze me - the following companies have taken tables for this event: The MediaShop, Onecom, Beith Digital, Outdoor Network, Primedia Outdoor, OMD, NAB, Cinemark, The Citizen, AquilaZone, Ads24, Old Shanghai Firecracker Factory, Stick Communications, and Moore Attorney's.
A special word of thanks needs to be directed at Cheryl Marshman from OMD who has really helped the ABF with this event."
Tables of ten cost R1,500 and single tickets cost R150 per person. A cash bar is available and platters can be pre-ordered or you can get a meal from their menu on the night. To book please contact
