TV with Thinus: BEMAWU declares dispute over Motsoeneng appointment... The biggest media trade union, Bemawu, has declared a dispute at the CCMA over the SABC's controversial permanent appointment of matricless Hlaudi Motsoeneng.
Politics Web: COSATU alarmed at latest SABC allegations... Spokesperson for COSATU, Patrick Craven, says the Congress of South African Trade Unions is deeply concerned at the allegation, reported in the City Press on 13 July 2014, that the SABC board chairperson, Zandile Ellen Tshabalala, lied to Parliament's Portfolio Committee on Communications by fabricating her CV to say that she holds a degree and a senior diploma from UNISA.
The university has reportedly denied Tshabalala's claim.
