Great Stock! is the official southern African source for all Corbis imagery, which spans all kinds of imagery - from footage, to photography, in rights managed and royalty free, from archival to contemporary lifestyles, destinations - quite literally the entire spectrum of high quality imagery.
Currently the Corbis collections are only partially represented on www.greatstock.co.za due to their huge size, making it difficult to maintain literally millions of images locally. However all can be searched for directly on the Corbis website at www.corbis.com.
Corbis photography includes some of the very earliest photography, including works by masters through many decades. Celebrity images from the Corbis Outline collection regularly grace the covers of glossy magazines. Advertisers, designers and the like find the many other collections, ranging from news to travel to fashion and lifestyle, a very rewarding and relevant resource for their work. Footage from Corbis Motion collection is fully searchable on www.stockoptions.co.za or via the Great Stock! website, and includes fabulous period re-enactments (from biblical times and the crusades, right up to modern conflicts in the Middle East). This fine collection also offers the full range of traditional stock (and not-so-stock) footage on virtually every subject imaginable.
