An update from the SABS Design Institute

At the Design Institute the 43 Challenge has been running for the last few months. The project is now in the very exciting prototyping phase, where all the candidates are very busy developing and perfecting their products and services.

Today we want to share two stories with you. The first is that of Claire Reid. She started Reel Gardening,, a few years ago and the Design Institute has helped her redesign her packaging and her brand to be ready to enter the UK market.

The second story is that of Kanya Sizwe Pakati. He identified a need for anti-flame technology that can be used by an ordinary person to control an unapproachable fire. The Design Institute helped him perfect the design to answer that need.
