Six of the best for Brand inc Sport

Sport specialist advertising agency, Brand inc Sport, has secured an incredible number of short listings for the Virgin Active Sport Industry Awards in 2013, including the prestigious sports agency of the Year.
The official short list, which was announced on Wednesday 31 October, has Brand inc Sport as a clear frontrunner boasting six short listings across five categories. Brand inc Sport is the only advertising agency that specialises in sport to have been nominated in this year's awards.

Brand inc Sport's current positioning reinforces the obvious need for an agency that strategically and creatively understands the variable aspects within the sports playground. Says Client Service Director of Brand inc Sport, Goodwill Moyo: "Our clients appreciate that sports advertising and sponsorship communications and activations don't necessarily fit into the same agency mould as the more traditional advertising agency offering. We are constantly identifying the best ways to implement campaigns that go beyond the traditional awareness techniques that other agencies may use. We understand the principles of engaging with supporters, driving stadium attendance and product purchase; quite simply, when it comes to sport, we know what works!"

Brand inc Sport's Managing Director, Chris Heaton, added that the short listings only better highlighted the importance a non-traditional specialist sports agency plays within marketing and engagement of sports-specific brands, teams and events.

Heaton went on to say that Brand inc Sport wasn't about to sit back on their laurels either. "We are in the process of formulating a unique approach on how we implement our campaigns. This will take fan engagement and stadium attendances to a whole new level. Brand inc Sport launched as a specialist agency less than two years ago, making it a remarkable feat to have been nominated for Sports Agency of the Year two years running.
