McCann Erickson appoints new account director

This driven young AD has left the Mother City's sea and The Jupiter Drawing Room to join McCann, based in sunny Jozi. He brings to McCann his extensive account management experience and passion for brand building.

“With a passion for building successful brands in today's challenging market, it is my desire and intention to manage a portfolio well and become an integral part of the process of creating world-class communication,” says Jason Yankelowitz.

Jason has managed accounts such as Sanlam, Green Cross, Hang Ten, Pfizer Consumer Healthcare and more, with agencies Jupiter Drawing Room, JWT and Berry Bush BBDO. A dynamic individual, Jason has diverse interests and varied experience.

Jason began his career working on the editorial staff of SA Sports Illustrated. He completed a Diploma in journalism, after which he obtained a three-year Higher Diploma in Integrated Marketing Communications. Throughout his career, Jason has been a part of the Table Bay Volunteer EMS as a reservist paramedic for the Cape Metro Ambulance and Rescue Service, as well as the South African Police Services.
