The SA Publication Forum's first Corporate Competition took place in conjunction with the National Press Club in 2002. The aim of the competition is to reward excellence in internal and external corporate communication media. The thorough feedback by their expert judges also makes the competition an excellent training opportunity.
The Black Khaki Group once again proved this year that this agency is one to reckon with. The group entered various categories this year ranging from electronic newsletters, corporate newspapers, and once-off publications to name a few.
Although they didn't win any award the feedback from the judges was positive and showed that Black Khaki is on the right track. The Clover Mama Afrika electronic newsletter received a special merit award in its category. It was noted that this publication created a great sense of community, conveys a caring and positive image of the organisation and the writing style suited the audience.
Another merit award was that of Excellence in Communication and best newspaper for InClover. The judges thought this to be a stunning-looking publication, clean, bold with a vigorous presentation that was produced with a lot of hart and passion.
In the category best once-off publications, the group also received a certificate of merit for the Clover Cookbook.
