The Lowe Bull Group has secured seven finalists in the 2008 Clio Awards, making it one of the two most successful local entrants into these prestigious awards. The only other agency to secure as many finalists is DDB Johannesburg.
The seven shortlistings are split between the Johannesburg and Cape Town offices, with Johannesburg securing four shortlistings for Axe “Black Board”, “Dog Show” and Grand Prix” (in the print category) and “Answering Machine” (in the radio category), and Cape Town securing three for “911”, “JFK” and “Soweto Uprising” (also in the print category).
The winners of the Clio Awards will be announced at the Clio Festival, held from May 14 to 17 in Miami Florida.
