SA judge for inaugural Dubai Lynx awards
Nici Stathacopoulos, CEO of marketing services agency proximity#ttp, has been selected as a member of the direct and interactive jury for the upcoming Dubai Lynx awards. The event is organised and presented by the Cannes Lions International Advertising Festival, and marks the inaugural advertising and communication awards honouring creative excellence across the Middle East and North Africa.
The juries for the award categories comprise top international and regional creatives, and will convene in Dubai in March 2007 to judge and award the freshest and most original ideas across TV/cinema, print, outdoor, interactive, radio, direct and integrated campaigns.
Chaired by Fred Koblinger, CEO of PKP Proximity & BBDO Holding Austria, the direct and interactive jury is made up of fifteen international top creative representatives from fourteen different countries.
“The launch of the Dubai Lynx Awards in the Middle East and North Africa offers an opportunity to establish standards of creative excellence in advertising as well as the burgeoning direct communications industry throughout the region,” says Stathacopoulos.
“Agencies across these regions will also receive immense benefit from having their work judged and honoured by a panel of international representatives.”
Dubai Lynx is presented in association with the United Arab Emirates Chapter of the International Advertising Association (IAA) and supported by Dubai Media City (DMC). Award winners will be revealed and honoured at a ceremony in Dubai Media City on 19 March 2007.
