MetropolitanRepublic is once again welcoming new citizens to the agency: this time, it's hotshot creative duo Tim Beckerling and Sean Harrison, who join as creative directors.

Tim and Sean have spent the past 13 years at some of South Africa's best creative agencies, including Ogilvy, Lowe Bull and Net#work BBDO.
They have worked on brands such as Telkom's 8ta, Cell C, Chicken Licken, McDonald's, Nedbank, FNB, Simba, Havaianas, Unilever, McCain, National Brands, Honda, Apple, Nando's, Wonderbra and The Wildlife and Environmental Society of South Africa.
Their efforts have won them more than 50 local and international awards at the Loeries, the Eagle Awards, the Clio Awards, Cannes Lions, The One Show, D&AD and New York Festivals.
"When a gap opened at MetropolitanRepublic, we jumped at the chance to combine our unique brand of lunacy with the boundless energy of Metro's founder, Paul Warner, and to once again join forces with our old friend and mentor Gareth Lessing," says Sean.

Tim says, "We're particularly interested in taking unexpected approaches to solving business problems. If advertising is the answer, we'll use it. But sometimes, for example, the solution is a more relevant or more profitable application of an existing manufacturing process. Established business owners are often in a mindset of execution and maintenance with an idea. The dream phase has been long forgotten. We believe that casting a fresh, creative eye over the issues a business is facing can lead to unique solutions and opportunities. Imagination got them there and a re-ignition of that imagination can breathe new life into an ageing idea."
