+27 Advertising has launched the campaign for the Discovery Insure Driving Challenge with a series of television commercials.
The campaign invites all South Africans to download the Discovery Insure app that uses cutting-edge telematics technology to measure driving behaviour.
The world-first smartphone app gives everyone - Discovery Insure client or not - the ability to measure and improve their driving. The app measures braking, cornering and acceleration, and awards points according to how well you drive.
Over the next three months, people are able to challenge their friends and take part in weekly draws to win their share of a R1m in BP petrol vouchers, or the grand prize, a trip for four to the Monaco Grand Prix.
The campaign further cements Discovery Insure as the motor insurance for good drivers.
"These commercials showcase the tangible way in which an above-the-line campaign encapsulates a social media drive for one of South Africa's largest app promotions," says Adrian Miller, co-founder of +27.
