The 2013 Midas Awards in New York, which awards the best financial advertising from around the world, was a huge success for agency King James and their Santam campaign. The Santam TV commercials, directed by Dean Blumberg of Bouffant, scooped Gold for 'Such a Granny', as well as a Silver for 'Baby on Board'.

Blumberg and Bouffant achieved this ambitious project for the insurance company, where volunteers were hypnotised in real world scenarios by internationally renowned hypnotist, Keith Barry - something that had never been done in this way before. This unprecedented commercial shoot was a unique experiment carried out on the streets of Johannesburg - another Blumberg venture that has certainly paid off.
