New Motsweding FM lineup released

29 Oct 2009 07:1063 commentsBizLike
From 1 November 2009, Motsweding FM will be launching its business strategy termed "Back-to-Basics". The changes will see some of Motsweding's renowned personalities return on-air.
Benny "Boogy Eyes" Motaung returns to the airwaves as a host of the 12pm - 3pm slot, which he hosted almost four years ago. Another favourite is Snyman Rankane who will be hosting the Saturday morning slot from 7am - 10am.

These changes follow research and analysis conducted by the station to find out what the listeners really want. Its listeners are constantly begging the station to bring back their favourite, seasoned Motsweding FM personalities and the station has responded.

The station has a listenership of over 2.7 million, according to the RAMS report released on 28 October 2009.

The new line-up will start on Sunday 1 November 2009 with a "Christmas is for Giving" campaign, which will be focus on making Christmas pleasant for orphaned children.

Motsweding's line-up change-
Haleluya, I am excited about the news that I've just read. As a Tswana speaking person I made a conscious decision to switch to English medium radio stations 4 years ago because I felt the programme content, by my standards is shallow and I believe that was due to lack of preparation from the presenter's side. I just feel the presenters took us for granted. And please Ben please Mr Dikobe we need custodians and ambassadors tsa puo ya Setswana, I just got tired of presenters who use a lot of street lingo. Please don't compromise our language because it is our pride and heritage. Posted on 29 Oct 2009 09:34

I am very excited with the station's new line-up, it was long time coming. It is indeed back to basics. Big ups to management.

Nothing new about this line up-
I mean, what would u call this line up new when Cebo has been on the breakfast show for so long, Lindiwe returning to 9 - 12, Benny returning , Douglas and KB back to afternoon drive?
And worst of all, Snyman Rankane.
Why don't u just complete it by bringing back Moabi, Aubrey, Rustus Maotwe and Sello Phiri?
No guys, u are not helping in developing future broadcasters.
Why don't u let Lebo and Lindiwe do the 9 - 12 on alternate days? Pair Benny with a young presenter?
Snyman should stay where he was coz he's not gonna bring anything new. His time is long gone. Posted on 29 Oct 2009 13:14

Your comments on this new line-up is disappointing-

If you want a commercial radio station then I suggest you try elsewhere. I am disappointed in your review of this new line-up I think need to be reminded that presenters like Bra Ben " The Boss" are timeless, they get refined with time like wine. His free-flowing jazz literature, lectures and commentary is classical and pure magic. Posted on 29 Oct 2009 15:52

today Our DJs are losing it on Motsweding-
Ke nagana gore you are forgetting go re Motsweding FM is not a community radio station where you say what you want whenever you feel like and you just play music and le gone o o senang molaetsa but ditlhapa o sa lebelele gore e reediwa ke batho botlhe. Our Radio Setswana and MMabatho then used to be so informative and go ne go dira batho ba ba godileng ba le experienced ka botshelo not forgetting that back then youth e ne e ntse e le teng and ba itumelela go reetsa Radio so today's youth ba batla go dira jaaka ba rata ba bo ba re bolelela ka go itepatepanya le dinako. Mo nakong e e fetileng dilo di ne di ntse di fetoga but re sa lebale go re re bo mang re tswa kae. I wish batho ba ba tshwanang le bo Moabi,Ramadi,Mogale, Sammy Rankwana,Bigboy Mothusiotsileand Peter Manzana ba ka bo ba busediwa mo Radiong. We dont need batho ba go tshwana le diphologotswana go fana ka di tips tsa cheating on nationla radio station, we need people who are well matured and who can share information Posted on 31 Mar 2010 12:28

Sense at last-
We've been waiting for this since Ben Dikobe's moment of madness the other day. Whoever is resposible for these changes knows very well that stations like Motsweding are FOR THE PEOPLE and BY THE PEOPLE. You just can't run it like some campus radio. Motsweding is NOT a commercial radio stations whereby you can say you're chasing revenue or "try to attract young listeners". We need mature and experienced presenters who knows the culture, language and tradition of Setswana like the back of their hand. This is the only platform where our children should suckle their being and values and be taught about their culture not ' be pleased and spoiled'. We must protect our language at all costs.

I'm very happy that Lindiwe is back where she should've never left before. Jizzy how long has Lady D at Ukhozi and Sis Thuli at Lesedi been on that 9-12 slot? and Chomane Chomane has been hosting his show since Mandela got out of jail. If it ain't broken don't fix it coz otlo e senya.

Also the move to put The Boss back on Jazz must be applauded, JD Sol honestly was just a DJ, unlike The Boss who is a teacher of jazz, and that's what jazz shows need.

I'm also glad Modisane Modise will stick to preaching, that Saturday show was a complete disaster. KB and Dmos will give many drive-time shows a run for their money, good move.
Lebo Leabile? From prime-time drive-time slot to graveyard? Shame. Anyway I'm not surprised. Big ups for the return of Seilatsati Mokopi to her baby, we missed her 'adult talk'.

Snyman? Eish I would have preffered Modiko Mothupi instead, but he's a legend so I don't expect disappointment there. I hope Benny Boogy-eyes will be teamed-up with Bra Boys, we really missed their interactions and debates.

Overall this change was a must!
I can finally say bye-bye to Radio2000 and 702. Posted on 29 Oct 2009 13:52

Ayoba-
The line-up is okay by my standards and desires anyway...but I have reservations there and there...Benny being brought back on Radio is not a strategic move cos the time he left he was no longer a prime time jock...I think he was getting too old and outgorwing thaT SLOT...Anyway chage is goood myb he reenergised.....And another thing when Aus Lindiwe left Nna le Wena you could feel that she was not enjoying the slot or myb there was no competition from the then Motsweding fm female's jocks....And I must say she has reviatlised herself through Kopa Dilalelo and listeners are beginning to love her so much...Cebo is okay on Bosele, however he must be partnered with a vibey and fresh gal who could challenge him through debate or arguments.

Kabelo and Dougy on drive time slot, wow that's great I salute the management for that.....And what happened to Refilwe Madisa? JD Sol has oiverstayed his term in Motsweding and I think he could be useful on Management or Progamming...The top 30 should be strictly South African guys please. BoLesego and Frieda are supposed to be producers and not on-air personalities cos they're terrible...As for Bro Snaky I think more Setswana Music should be played and be kind of Setswana Culture-orientated programme that is characterised by folklore, fairytales, literature and so forth...but not hardocre stuff... jst light stuff that could make listeners laugh and enjoy the programme...Thapelo and Queen I think jah it's good to give kids a chance or platform to use radio to express their issues, challenges facing teenagers. My 2 cents-
Firstly, thanks to the management for informing us about the changes and for the explanation given and secondly, to the comments so far, I'm glad you guys make sense and are rational about your debates, which is better than other forums we've had. My 2 cents:
(1) Benny and Snyman should remember that much has changed since their times, the thinking, technology, listeners, attitudes etc. those have changed. Will they bring anything different? I don't know, but it's a question of choosing to quit while you are still liked or taking a risk, however I believe in Benny.
(2) Lindi is untouchable and so I'm glad she's back there, I still worry about Lebo (regardless what slot she does), I think every female jock that I have heard on any radio station is better than her...atleast there will be no favours this time.
(3) Dmos, since I started listening to radio I have never learned anything for Dmos, I'd give him the party time slot or something. KB is good but I still doubt he's an afternoon material, he's a bit stiff...
(4) Mokopi - it was long time coming, good move...Lesego must be given a chance and be guided (there's talent there)
(5) Why kill Ke mo teng? it was a gr8 show and nobody will be able to relate like solly and sammy did.
(6) Going back to basics? is this the question of 'the more things change, the more they remain the same'?
(7) Does Motsweding reward talent or does it reward "names"?
In general, I am satisfied about the line-up, it's way better than what we've had. However, I still believe that up and coming jocks should be given a chance to prove themselves (and that's rewarding talent). How many times do we have the same dj's travelling through different slots and again and again, eg. hasn't Dmos been to drivetime before? KB? Lebo? etc.
The young guys who have something different to offer (and probably not names) like Oatile, Brian, Papa, Irene have (in my opinion) a lot to offer, something different and not the same old mentality.
Once again, I welcome the changes but I urge that other kids are given a try instead of rotating the same people or bringing back the old.
Kakapa, Mafika and company, I await your views with anticipation. Posted on 29 Oct 2009 15:04

At least-
There''s something that I fail to uderstand in the whole line-up. Y KB and Dmos on Afternoon drive cos at one stage in their radio career in Motsweding they did the show and failed to live up to listener's expectations or at least mine. Over and above despite the changes I believe that the Music Department needs an overhaul I mean not just moving old music compilers to other positions within the Sound Department, but just getting rid off them near the Sound cos they have done injustice to listeners in years. I just want to know that will we still be enjoying hard core topics that GoitseModimo used to have now that Lebo is at the helm of things. I guess tym will tell...And Goitse was very tolerant of listeners that had opposing views and I'm just thinking that will Miss Lebo have time for that.....Am talking abt people like Mr Sekwatlakwatla, Mrs Lethoko, Constable, Mr Madikong and so forth...I mean these are some of listners that I know that they like to express their views without fear of persecution and they do that taking their time so that they can be understood....So intolerant jock wont succeed...and it's not like I am setting Lebo up for a failure but she will have to adapt if she wants her show to have good ratings.

On the other hand I don't understand the strategic move of reinstating Lesego and Frieda respectively to the late night shows on weekends cos they're not killing it. Finally guys these changes are better than inaction cos Motsweding was slowly turning into a District Station that fails to adapt to the ever changing environment. Finally can we please have a 1 hr slot on Saturday that plays Setswana Music only guys... Posted on 29 Oct 2009 16:05

On point about music-
I agree with you ka music Dayne. Something drastic needs to happen in that department.
On traditional Setswana music, Jozi FM, which is a community station is Soweto catering for a mix breed of cultures, play more traditional Tswana music than Motsweding, they even have a 2-3hr slot on weekends dedicated to Setswana music, which is sad if you compare it to a traditional national public Setswana station like Motsweding. Our music is being relegated to some graveyard slot sa Goitse. I agree that we need a special show on weekends for that, like Mogale Mafatshe used to do ko Radio Mmabatho.

Also I hope they put a few Reggae songs on their playlist. I'm not sure when was the last time I heard Bob Marley or even Lucky Dube play on the station.

When Dimakatso Sethoba (I still don't know why she was booted-out) was still co-hosting the faith show with Modisane they used to play a whole lot of Zion gospel or mmino wa diatla, we need more of that on Sundays.

As for the so-called count-down JD-Sol will be doing, is that still necessary? Radio trends are changing and chats are slowly phasing-out of modern radio, unless you make listeners vote or request for their top songs. Posted on 30 Oct 2009 13:01

Hahaha you guys are funny...moaners.....Pun intended....-
Mokakati and other hard to please cohorts should just give us a break pls...Guys I mean there's nothing that makes you greatful in life, that I have seen trust me....You guys never give credit where it's due, and pls dnt get me wrong am not saying you shouldn't voive your opinions but yours is a pure short-sight fuelled by lack of vision and the understanding of the strategic moves behind the changes...You guys are so dated with old mentality and tastes and interstst...Just for you info radio is dynamic guys in fact the whole media specturm keeps on changing and lately we are talking about Media Convergence AND INTERACTIVITY...In olden days you cudn't access radio on your phone or on the net but becuase of digitsiation everything is possible...In that I mean listeners' tastes, interests and attitudes have dramatically changed as a result of digitsation and on top of that since radio is part of mass media it's not immune to these tecnhological developments. So guys you can't expect radio to be the same like it used to be decades ago. Advertising is also changing the radio spectrum at all because radio content or programming is in most cases aligned with the Advertisers and sponsors' business strategies. Radio nowadays is no longer all about what people want but what advertisers need. But I believe that the stations need to communicate these changes with the audiences becuase they add to the social and economic development. Thank you guys....... Posted on 2 Nov 2009 14:32

KAKAPA-
The only one left is MANZANA, to complete a journey back to the basics. It does not help complaining! Sigongile said, this is what the listeners wanted!

For me Cebo is ok doing the breakfast! But still he should be reminded that no one is beyond reproach, he better ask Manzana!
Since Motsweding is going back to the basic, why not return Minah Pilane! Anyway I have nothing agaist Lindiwe, safe for her arrogance. Ke kopa o sa felela bareetsi pelo mma. Mare Bareetsi ba bangwe le bone baa tena man.
Benny Motaung! He's ok.....O na le botho sham!

Douglas le KB! Sibongile have you forgotten that (since you are saying you are going back to the basics) a 3 to 6 slot is a youth slot (Oh! At least it used to be). Yes Dmos was once an afternoon drive material but age has caught up with him, KB is better now, but he has never been an afternoon drive material. No offence, these two are going to work hard but I am afraid the desired numbers wont be reached. As a result I suspect that this is an interim measure.

As for other slots you can put who ever you desire, you can even give BEN MAITSAPO mamepe a metshameko! This is exactly what is happening @ motsweding, managers just do what they want! (Excuss the Pun). As for LEBO, LEKGETHO, TLHAPANE, MEDUPE, guys I admire your courage, deep down you know the naked honest truth, but still, you still have it in you to come and switch on that microphone! SURE COMRADES LE SEBETE MAN! It pays the bills, I dont blame you, I would do it as well. FREE ADVICE: START LOOKING FOR AN ALTERNATIVE JOBS BECAUSE YOUR RADIO DAYS I STRONGLY BELIEVE THEY ARE NUMBERED. I HOPE I AM WRONG THOUGH. AS 4 LESEGO, atleast you can make a super producer....i think you have proven yourself, THAT IS EXACTLY WERE YOU SHOULD FOCUS. Posted on 5 Nov 2009 19:45

Comment-
Guys any justification of why Brian was moved to Sports? I thought even though he's not that kinda of someone who can rock the airwaves during the late hours of friday and Sunday, at least he was getting there. The lack of vavavooom in him cannot be ignored though. This Thlapane chick is not the material for that slot honeslty...it's not like am suffering from PHD but truth has to be told sometimes cos sugarcoating endorses mediocrity. The same goes to Lesego and Mantsho. As for Thapelo and Queen I think they're still young an anyway I fall outside of their Target Audience Bracket fo goodness sake..So I will give them a benefit of doubt though...Myb it's a strategic move to lure young and fresh listners to the airwaves...Who knows and cares anyway?

I mean the whole incompetent and untalented lot (I mean on radio, not generally) should be relegated to production team or something that will keep them away from the mic. I guess everyone knows that injustice (at least in theory) in South Africa warrants prosecution. So at least to save their jobs, they could make better producers with the broadcasting knowldege and experience they gained. Moreover truth has to be told I'm no a fan of Lebo and honestly I don't see myself falling into her on radio as long as she does not instill sense of respect, tolerance, humanity and professionalism in her. Just to make myself clear, for instance when listeners call, she cuts the listeners before they could finish to say their points, opinions or comments...That's unprofessional to say the least and shows lack of respect....Another is of cutting listners that call while their radios are still on when going on air...I mean understandably in this case listners mess up big time but can't this lady give them at least few secs to switch off their radios and comment on topic on hand?? Is that hard to do? Absolutely no. And lastly you guys (djs) stop talking about your achievements on radio as a way of making some listeners to loose hope in life. I mean you can't say that am driving this, eating this, living in a plush house, drinking this and so forth while the person who's listneing to you is stuggling to put her/his life together. Remember that radio reaches millions of listners and of that millions probably only a quarter of them are living decent lives. So guys when you open your mouths try to think about those things. Amen Posted on 6 Nov 2009 19:18

Sbongile I understand that Listeners will never be happy. Especially us (those commenting in this platform) however, that will never justify you not taking lack of talent off the mic. Its about time someone tell it like it is: AlphyK is not a good soccer commentator, but he is a brilliant sports presenter if not the best. The point I am making is Mokaragana should be done by AlphyK. Take Brian out of that slot, let OATILE AND MANYAAPELO DEAL WITH SOCCER COMMENTARY.

Last question: Sbongile do you really listen to LESEGO LEKGETHO AND FREDDAH TLHAPANE? THESE ARE VERY BRAVE GIRLS! Posted on 7 Nov 2009 08:27

To KAKAPAnyana and lilDayne-
I think it's about time someone tells you what you need to know.
Listen, this is not about you guys, so take a chill pill and better your careers and lives. What am I on about? well, Kakapa, you are a bitter soul and a destroyer. All the comments that you have posted are negative and destructive, you've never uttered anything positive about Motsweding, you are always unhappy and you actually destroy people instead of criticising them. Secondly, you know nothing about RAMS (that's evident from the previous comments), thirdly, you know nothing about how radio works (internal functions). Your comments are based on certain ambitions, to destroy! you attack every DJ, why don't you move over elsewhere? I promise you Motsweding will be happy to get rid of such low self esteem, destructive guru wanna be's. If you don't believe me, visit all the comments that you have posted and find anything positive or of value, you won't find anything...why are you always destroying? take a chill pill bro and focus on things that you know best...and by the by, it's clear that you think you are smart, you are NOT and you are CLUELESS, you rattle destructively. You don't have to respond to this, until you can find something of value to add.

Lil DAYNE, I've been following your comments too, from the bad things you posted about Dikobe to Matshaba to destroying other people. Firstly, I realise you are young, if not agewise then mentally, you write crap like "LOL" and "hahaha" on a business forum....I hope that explains lil Dayne (Lil being the operative word). Now, what are your ambitions? what's your interest in being negetive all the time? Are you not Matshaba's mistress by any chance lil gal?

To both of you: it's not about you, you gain nothing from killing the spirit, you don't succeed by pulling others down and you've got experts reading and analysing your comments. Now grow up and stop pushing your agenda!!! Yes criticise if you want to, but do not attack people and destroy them. Once again, you don't have to respond to my comment until you have anything of value to add. In other words, SHUT THE FUKC UP!! Posted on 11 Nov 2009 10:38

To you loser.-
An empty tin makes a deafening sound if you didn't know boss. Let met just adress you as concisely as possible becuase you're not worth a long comment, at least from me or someone of my IQ level. From close scrutiny of the content of your submission my dear brother I gathered that you're suffering from self-imposed limitations. In short, I mean you you need help. Posted on 11 Nov 2009 12:56

A MOTSWEDING PRESENTER-
Modisaotsile thank you very much for being my comments' loyal reader! Enough with Modisaotsile. Moving right along!Assuming that u r a motsweding presenter, maybe one of those that I have been critical of, its simple, improve!

I still maintain that Alphy is not an effective soccer commentator (O rata go lela le go tlhalosa, kgwele yone e ntse e tsweletse: I challenge anyone to differ with me in this regard). Its a fact Alphy is one hell of a presenter, more so in sports, damn the guy is knowledgeable....U ask every motsweding listener will tell u, Alphy should do Mokaragana!
In all fairness though other presenters should be given a chance and be groomed. BUT THE FACT IS: IF A PERSON DOES NOT HAVE TALENT, THERE IS NOTHING THAT CAN BE DONE! This is not a time to be emotional, if u r given a job...do it to the best of your ability. Posted on 11 Nov 2009 18:21

well i guess your have slashed the upcoming generation from your segment it is an antique fossil station now no modernisation at all some people are faced with slots that dont suit their personalities we hardly hear goitse's opinions that turn to enlighten and broaden our thinkin horizons as that slot is jam packed with adverts and leabile is in the deep end who's gon sos her?motsweding bogologolo tala tota Posted on 13 Nov 2009 11:03

What?-
Wow your grapevine is amazing man! Ele gore what happened or finer details pertaining his suspension. If then thei grapevine is anything to go by, then we will have a serious problem. Phela KP and Douglas are not killing it..they're still trapped in the old type of presentation and their presentation is soold fashioned. As for Lebo, shame she's doing well on that show of hers I had I chance to listen to it for couple of days and so far she's on control o it. Posted on 13 Nov 2009 15:53

Cebo-
Guys Come on let us be serious!! Can someone tell us what happened to Cebo because JD Sol is really not cracking it Sho I really want to cry in the morning listening to him. Cebo worked so hard to build Bosele for sure they cant allow JD sol to just Kill it like that. One of the things I hate about motsweding is that they dont tell their listeners what happened to the DJ, we will just hear a new person presenting a show and ask yourself gore gorileng but you wont get an answer.

sempethe ke gofete-
I WOULD LIKE TO COMMENT SIBONGILE MTJALI FOR BRINGING BACK SNAKEY RANKANE AS AN ON AIR RADIO PERSONALITY.TO THOSE WHO CRITICIZE THE RETURN OF SNAKEY,DONT FORGET THAT YOU ARE SPEAKING OF A MAN WHO IN THE LATE 90S WAS VOTED LEMON TWIST DJ OF THE YEAR BY THE LISTENERS.THE MAN IS IN HIS OWN LEAGUE AND JUDGING BY WHAT I HAVE HEARD IN THE LAST TWO SHOWS THE MAN STILL HAS ALOT TO OFFER FOR MOTSWEDING FM.REMEMBER HE WAS STILL AT THE PEAK OF HIS CAREER WHEN THE THEN STATION MANAGER REMOVED HIM FROM ALL HIS SHOWS.KEEP UP THE GREAT WORK SNAKEY.DOCTOR MALULEKE NGOBI VILLAGE. We r not in the 80s Doc, most of those people who voted for Snakey are most probably dead by now. I respect him though! By the way he is the 1 who took himself off the micro phone when he was still acting station manager! Posted on 18 Nov 2009 17:41

WHERE THE HECK IS CEBO????-
Can somebody tell us what has happened to CC? If this station cares so much about its listeners then it owes them the explanation. I can't wait for DJ SOL to disapear permanently from Bosele.

A word of advice to Motsweding management: in any crisis, communicate with your stakeholders, do it fast and tell the truth!!! Posted on 24 Nov 2009 19:30

Motsweding FM Management-
People have spoken and its for the first time management ya ko Motsweding e sa re tlhomphe jaaka re le bareetsi o kare ba lebala gore seyalemowa se tia ka bareetsi. perhaps we should go back to basics of radio and understand who is important in this whole thing. Jaanong Sbongile re a ikuela mmaetsho, ga e le gore lo tlhaloganya seo ke se buang fa godimo fa, you will then do what is right. I fully agree with the person who wrote that IN ANY CRISIS WITHIN THE ORGANISATION, THE STAKEHOLDERS MUST BE INFORMED. now ko go lona koo o kare lo ikapeela ka meteme ka gore ga lo re tlhomphe ebile lo a re bontsha gore ga lo re tshabe because there is nothing we can do. I ironically appreciatin the newly launched line-up-
Motswedingfm is not the station that you can trust, the station that you can lay your head on the block and bet your very last dime about it.I plead to all the people who listen to this station to never commit your soul and yourself sayin you are a loyal listener of this station, because it will definately tear your heart apart. But anyway let me just thank management and all the decisionmaker for bringin the station back to more than a decade ago thereby creatin me a chance to spend my time on some of the important activities instead of listenin to a radio and it give me time to listen to some of the radio station to get a vital info and to watch television. Thanks for that special treatment that is definately shows that this is nolonger the station of the nation or listeners it is a private station. Posted on 12 Apr 2010 14:03

Back to Basics-
I am pleased with ur line-up bro ben. Its not new but back to basics. You bringing back the core of motsweding fm to come mentor young guys like Thapelo. Lindiwe's show is listened mostly ke bo mme. And she can interact very well with them. Benny ena ke kgosi. Iketleng's listener ship will rise. Stella is back to finish what she started. she still has alot to offer us. Rre Rankane le Sammy damn. what an interesting and lively show. they rock i tell u.

There is no person old enough not to be on radio. Larry King has been on tv before i was born. Oprah, John Robby etc. Benny and Stella are still young .....

Lol Dackshasha and KB ke digafi. They rock also

Motsweding fm you rock...... Posted on 12 May 2010 17:03

Now will they recall the late Kgomotso Moletsane from the grave 2 complete their ancient line-up.-
I'm wonderin how Motswedingfm is goin to increase it's listenersekepe because most of the people who were livin back in the past, particularly people who were used to that radio back in those days, I think most of them have died and some are now old. What is important is that if you can just go to StatsSA and look at the demography of this country, you'll see that the dominatin people now is youth, that I think they wont be attracted by this ancient line-up.Now back to the basic which is a new strategy I think is missin something because is not complete, so to complete it I think they(management) will need to bring back the late Kgomotso Moletsane and recruit and recall Big Boy Moagi from his lucrative job in 702-567 and the other who I didn't mention. "young talent''-
U know I am all for the 'young talent' but what's the point if the 'young talent' are total replicas of the 'old talents' worse ga ba itse Setswana. why use fake when you can recycly Makoya? Motsweding FM has never sounded better, i'd rather listen to Radio Setswana than be subjected to bagasi ba ba sa tlhaloganyeng le go itse Setswana. Those who want hip and happening stations, u have a choice to listen to Yfm and other stations. Motsweding FM ke sekolo go bana ba ba sa itse Setswana. Ga ke dumele gore bareetsi ba ka itumelela go utlwa motho a ntse a bua sefankaloo mo radiong ya Setswana. And it looks like the 'recycling' is working, Motsweding FM has reached a 3.2 million mark in listenership. Let's embrace our Culture and Language and stop moaning about petty things. Until we have credible youngsters who know PUO YA SETSWANA, then we can start moaning!! Big Up to Motsweding FM!! Posted on 1 Nov 2010 13:04
