Nu-Biz and Crystal Ball form decision-modelling partnership

Issued by: Nu-Biz
How often does it happen that with the daily work pressures marketing decision makers, at all levels within an organisation, fail to properly evaluate options and arrive at the best possible decision with the information at hand? It happens all too often.
Nu-Biz has recognised the need for solutions that facilitate 'best decision' making. Nu-Biz addresses this matter in two ways. Firstly, it has developed simple tools for everyday marketing decisions, which are available from its website - www.nubiz.co.za.

Secondly, Nu-Biz has signed a partnership agreement with a USA based software firm called Decisioneering. Decisioneering has developed powerful software named Crystal Ball®. Crystal Ball transforms Microsoft® Excel spreadsheets to get a credible picture of risk, create accurate predictive models, search for the best solution and maximize value. Crystal Ball includes Monte Carlo simulation to forecasting, optimization and conduct real options analysis.

It works like this. Accurate models of the question at hand are developed in Microsoft Excel. With the help of Crystal Ball, uncertain inputs such as costs and returns are replaced by distributions of values that more realistically represent the involved risks. Crystal Ball is run at an incredibly fast rate to simulate probable outcomes is run. The simulation is complete when a graphic plot and statistical output are produced. All that remains is to interpret the output and arrive at the best decision.

Combining Six Sigma and Crystal Ball renders Nu-Biz best qualified to reduce your business and marketing risks.
